Propelled by a mental health crisis among high school students, "The Lost Letter" stands as a
narrative-driven digital game highlighting this issue. Serving as a game designer, UX designer, and
game artist, I utilized the unique form and motion of Chinese characters for storytelling and
puzzles. Through nurturing empathy for the student's mental journey, the game encourages
contemplation of societal and parental expectations, shedding light on the flaws in the education
system and the societal norm of overemphasizing academic quantification. Designing the game, I
realized my storytelling enthusiasm could release my imagination through virtual interaction
augmented with technology. By immersing players in thoughtfully designed scenarios, I am excited to
foster understanding, empathy, and reflection, ultimately spreading positivity to the real world.
